Hello there, I'm Martha!

I am not much of one for listing my resume off, however I do understand the importance of credibility and feeling security with whomever you choose to work with. I have been a trauma based clinician for over eight years. I went to high school and undergraduate school for theatre performance (just think of the show, Fame...that was me). My current client's describe me as, "earthy, whimsical, direct, motivating and tender." I seek to balance spirituality, or the "woo woo" with neuroscience for a robust and long lasting therapeutic experience. This divine balance has and continues to lead me into rich, rounded healing of my own and has displayed the most benefit for my clients. 
My personal story, also led me into the world of somatic experiencing very early on. I understand "somatics" is becoming a trendy term. I have been integrating these theories and techniques since the beginning of my time as a clinician, which I believe allows me to offer more in depth, and better understood somatic experiences.
